VB and IB questions

I've a general question about vertex and index buffers. If we have some different models, how we organize the data in the vertex and index buffer? A different buffer for each mesh or one buffer wich contains all data? For data I intend, for example, geometry. A very simple structure: - Mesh class: for loading and managing the mesh. - SceneNode class: represents a mesh in the scene, with her materials and shader, positions and properties. - Scene class: a collections of scene nodes.
