Texture Alignment with a direction vector

Hello to all, I have generated a per-vertex texture direction based on curvature for meshes and was wondering how to go about generating texture coordinates using these directions. What I am aiming for is a seamless consistent texture map for pencil texture (lines match up etc). I have looked it up on various papers but can't find a suitable implementation for me.
