Hey guys, For example, I have a class A that derives class B and C and a class D that derives from B and C. Finally, I have a class E that derives from D. Isn't E's constructor only required to call D's constructor and not any of the other's?

This depends on programming language. In C++ it's possible that E will need to directly call the constructor of A, B or C if virtual inheritance is involved.
