Does anyone know how to interpret the data in the .xaf file? (3ds max9 not the cal3d format) I wanted to convert this to my own format for my game. I can see there are bone information per time step, but I'd want to know which info are for transform, scale, rotate(euler or quaternion). sample: <MaxAnimation version="1.00" date="Sat Feb 27 19:42:42 2010"><SceneInfo fileName="terror.max" startTick="0" endTick="5600" frameRate="30" ticksPerFrame="160" /><CustomData /><Node name="Bip01" parentNode="Scene Root" parentNodeIndex="0" numChildren="1"><Samples count="36"><S t="0" v="0.004081 -0.996907 -0.078489 0.996223 0.010862 -0.086155 0.086741 -0.077841 0.993185 -0.650452 141.150711 -3.809132" /><S t="160" v="-0.006133 -0.997311 -0.073026 0.997271 -0.000728 -0.073821 0.073569 -0.073279 0.994594 -0.427789 136.913757 -3.598188" /> ...

With regard to the bone transform ( "v=" ), there are twelve values. I would guess the first nine values comprise a 3x3 rotation matrix and the last 3 a translation.

Please don't PM me with questions. Post them in the forums for everyone's benefit, and I can embarrass myself publicly.
