Anyone familiar with XNAnimation for XNA?
I'm using XNAnimation for a game I'm creating and I'm able to use it with several models without an issue. However, I'm having difficulty with one .FBX model and I'm stuck. When I use the quicktime plugin the animation is fine, so the problem lies in my code.
The animation as it's supposed to, looks as follows:
Correct
And in my code (the view is top-down) it looks as follows:
Incorrect
Does anyone know what might be making his arms flap around like that. (I'm pretty sure I'm rendering the correct frames and I've tried playing with other frames just in case, with no success). I'm a newb with XNAnimation and 3D programming in general and I realize that the explanation may be time consuming so if anyone knows and can at least point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi! Are you manipulating any of the transforms for the bones or the skin apart from the transforms you're sending to the animation-classes?
I'm guessing this is a matrix problem.
Sorry I can't give you any better advice. I'm working on some animation stuff myself, and I'm also having problems with these sort of things. Sort of a noob to it myself:P However, I find most of the problems with this stuff is matrix-related.
Hope this is somewhat helpful.
