I've spend 3 months on modeling object for in my first-person shooter. Now I've finished modeling and I want to combine it and add a story and controls. How do I do this?

Tell us abit more about your project.. what technology are you using? e.g XNA, C++ with OpenGL etc..

and then try asking more specific questions.

You could:

1. Mod an existing (probably commercial) game to make your own. This usually requires some programming knowledge but saves you the work of creating the entire game yourself; you drop in your own artwork/sound/etc., script any custom gameplay required and create your storyline. If you want to do this you'll have to pick a game before we can give you any further help, as they all work differently.

2. Learn to program. The For Beginners Forum FAQ offers some advice on this.

3. Make your game using Unity or the UDK. You'll probably still need some programming skills, but less so than if you were doing all your own programming.

4. Use FPS Creator or a similar package to create your game.

5. Work with other people who have the skills to create your game.
