I understand swarm intelligence as intelligent group behavior, but I don't research in the subject yet.

I need to know if is possible to build a thesis from swarm intelligence oriented to games.

Swarm intelligence is where the individual animals are stone dumb but the hive, nest, swarm is massively intelligent. Termites for example. Each one is born to do one thing, which it does for its entire life. Catching other animals, building the mound. Things every animal does. In groups though, they have domesticated animals, planned out MASSIVE mounds in advance, use basic diplomacy (two hives working together to take out a third)and design air conditioning systems to remove methane and bring in oxygen. Its absolutly the scariest thing you will ever see.

In games you could translate that into one bot having crappy ai, when the number of bots in a location gets above some number they get better ai and more cpu time etc. Could maybe lead to a nice evoloution based game maybe.

Just what came straight to mind. I'd check some facts if I were you.
