Working with WMI events - Grabbing foreground app / keyboard/mouse events?

I'm trying to learn a bit more about the Windows Mangement Instrumentation. While the most basic things work without issues(like grabbing system information and processing that), I have a lot more trouble with hooking actual events and finding documentation on them. What I am specifically trying at this moment is to write a very simple keylogger that looks at the active application and logs all mouse and keyboard actions and links them to the specific application. I know how to do this in C++ with Win32, but I'm more interested in the WMI side of things. However, I can't find any useful information on this. Spend about an hour googling around to find out if I could find which classes I could use for this. Toolmaker
