You said something about creating a bounding box (hollow box), can you tell me how to approach this.

If you''re using Q3Radiant there is a button along the top for hollowing a box.

How big is the object you''re making? I had a similar problem when making a small object. I wonder if the perspective for PVS is too small, and if surrounding it with a larger hollow box would solve the problem. This is really a hack since Q3 models aren''t supposed to be visible from the outside anyway. Normally if you''re outside it will ignore the PVS and draw everything, which might be fine for small objects but is bad for large levels.


If you want send me the .map file you''re making so I can see what you''re doing.
