Hi Im new to the forums and have started looking at begginers books on shaders. I have managed to follow the book and have implemented different types of lighting and attenuation to loaded models. i want to change the colour of the light over time and just wondering how this would be implemented in the shader file? im pretty new to c++ but understand the basics. im pretty sure the solution is simple but i keep messing it up:) any help greatly appreciated

If it were me i'd keep the calculations on the CPU and just set a colour to the effect using ID3DXEffect::SetFloatArray.
