I was wondering if anyone has purchase the brand new book: The Essential Guide to Flash Games: Building Interactive Entertainment with ActionScript by Jeff Fulton and Steve Fulton, and if they have, what are their impressions on it for teaching a beginner in Actionscript/Flash how to develop games in that language/environment. Right now I'm looking at the ActionScript 3.0 Game Programming University by Gary Rosenzweig and think its alright, but I was just wondering if the other book was better or more up to date. Thanks. Here's their Amazon links: ActionScript 3.0 Game Programming University by Gary Rosenzweig The Essential Guide to Flash Games: Building Interactive Entertainment with ActionScript by Jeff Fulton and Steve Fulton
