Clouds

Hi! I work with VC++ & DX9! I wanna render 3d volumetrics clouds and I wanna know how can I do that! I have been trying use Point Sprites, but if I wanna put a gray color at the clouds, they become invisible from the blend option. I hope you can leave me a tutorial. What type of vertex I must to use (Point Sprites or something else..) for render the clouds. Thak You! [Edited by - Larry91 on March 17, 2010 12:08:22 PM]

When I did it, I used http://www.markmark.net/clouds/RTCRPubs.html

Those papers/slides should talk about all the cool stuff, lighting, scattering and impostors.
