FMOD GetSpectrum() without playing sound?

Hi, I'm currently working on a small project utilizing FMOD to load an mp3 and perform a small analysis using the GetSpectrum() function. However, I have ran into a small problem, everything I have read about this implementation has been applied only to a sound when it is playing. Is there a way to quickly analyze a full mp3 without the need for it to be playing using FMOD?
