Hey, I was wondering if there's any free open-source libraries that will allow me to compress captured PCM data from my microphone, for transfer across a network. The captured sources are generally voices. Any recommendations? Thanks, ~FenixRoA [Edited by - FenixRoA on March 19, 2010 12:50:17 AM]

May be Speex is what you want.

I haven't downloaded it or looked at the documentation yet but it looks to be exactly what I need. I hope it can be easily implemented using P/Invokes.
