who is know the format of xfile(binary file)?

hi guys I have some xfile (binary file) ,I need tranfe it to another format.so I need know how to read their vertex ,textrue and bones. could you tell me how to do it? Or do you know the format of binary file? thank you.

What i did was used to the techinique in the nvidia sdk ( i believe the skinned instance sample ) where they load in the binary x model using the dx9 loader, lock the vertex/index buffers, pull the data i need, and write it out to a seperate format. it also shows you how to pull the bone structure and weights along with the textures needed.

this helped me out alot.

Note, i do this in a seperate program, so that i am not depenedent on any dx features inside my actual engine

Personally I would go the route NiteLordz suggested, and just use the D3DX functions for loading X files and then extract the data from that.
