Where to get a directory of multimedia app publishers?

I'm working on a multimedia application and would like to talk to potential publishers. Is there anywhere I can get a good list rather than having to scour amazon.com for software or google?
You are still kind of Vague. Are you talking about something like Photoshop? Dreamweaver? Or is this something that can create something for each and every thing in the multi, of multimedia?
If you can't share that information then the only thing that I can suggest IS going google and finding the type of venture capitalist firms and publishers who publish whatever type of application your application is.
