debug cg shaders

hy. I'have understand that gdevil don't debug cg shaders. What are the opensource and commercial project to debug cg shaders? In nvidia shader debugger i can start from an executable? if no how i can debug completely the shader? thanks

But how you develop and debug shaders in opengl?
unfortunately there really is no way to do this.

It is a huge pain.

If you want to do the debugging yourself, the only (and obvious) solution is to make a FLOAT renderbuffer and output your value, then readback with glReadPixels.
