Hi, i have the book real time collision detection and on page 180 is a algorithm to detect ray intersection of an AABB I have a vector class with attributes float x,y,z and float v[3] I also have a boundingBox class with attributes float min[3],max[3],center[3] Now in the main function i have glutDisplayFunc(RenderScene); where render scene gets the camera position and lookat and sets gluLookAt(pos.x,pos.y,pos.z,view.x,view.y,view.z,0,1,0); and renders an octree terrain node my question to you is how to use this algorithm to detect a ray intersecting a terrain. where the terrain put into an octree. I am a beginner and if you can help in any way i will be delighted to hear from you. Regards Michael
