I hope this is the right place to post. Is anyone here familiar with Visual Studio Templates? I'm having trouble trying to create a template for directx games that I wrote. Although it is only 6 files atm, I know that as I make more games I'll be adding functionality to the template so it wouldn't make sense to keep on re-creating new files each time.

Yes I found that out after I posted. Seems like you have to create templates manually by by editing some files (Looks a little confusing). Going to not use a template for the moment.

You can create a project. Add all the files you want to use in every project, and set up all the config. Then you can save it, and every time you want to create a new project, you only need to copy the project, change the name and that's all.
