Is it just me or does this look extremely like a crysis mod?
It is like crysis but it isn't a mod, it's a new engine for indies.
Go to www.profenix.com
Looks very interesting! One thing that I noticed, is the way the ragdolls fly, almost jump away when you shoot them, is this for demonstration purposes?
Also, the jeep seems very jumpy, as if you're driving on the moon.
Other than that, nice work!

You are right, all the effects are emphasized only for demonstration purposes. Of course they can be customized as you like.
Don't mind me saying so, but this looks almost a little too good to be true. I'd be curious to know about licensing costs... (rough ballpark figures - i.e. is it $100? $100,000?).

Don't worry, It is true!! :)
About costs, there will be 3 license types: Basic, pro, full.
These licenses differ basing on access level and client annual revenue.
- BASIC license has a script access level
- PRO license has script and c++ sdk access level
BASIC and PRO require client to have an annual revenue under 200.000 euros, and require an engine splash screen before starting the game.
All the costs are per developer:
- BASIC 150 euros
- PRO 1500 euros
- FULL the cost have to be decided
