Does anyone know of a way of emulating compilation of shaders on multiple platforms? The reason being is since changing from an nvidia card to an ATI one, I noticed differences in warning message formats and language spec which I need to be aware of and test. Thanks.

While I unfortunately don't have a direct answer to your question, I know that in general nvidia compiler is loose while ATI compiler is very strict. I think anything you compile on ATI will work on both.

For example I think nvidia will accept

float x = 0;

While for ATI it must be

float x = 0.0

due to implicit cast from int to float being disallowed.
