glReadPixels color order

glReadPixels(x, y, w, y+h, GL10.GL_RGBA, GL10.GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, buff);
Is there a way to tell what order the R G B A are written out in? It seems like some devices switch R and B...

The format parameter, which is GL_RGBA in your call, defines that order. If a impl is giving your data in another order, it's a GL implementation bug.

That's what I was afraid of...

Specifically, I'm working on an Android project, and the motorola droid seems to be switching R and B while all other phones are fine.
