Good Networking Tutorial?
Does anyone have a good networking tutorial I can use that starts off with the basics of networking with C++ for multi player online games?
Do you care which underlying API is used?
I personally like RakNet, which has lots of training materials.

If you want to learn sockets I learned Mostly from Beej's guide which is geared toward linux users...

beej's tutorial is geared towards the bsd sockets which is on posix based systems so most bsd and linux systems, and winsocks is also based upon bsd sockets with very few windows quirks, all of my network code runs on windows,linux and mac osx with literally 8 lines difference between the windows code and the rest
