DirectX 10: No lighting functions/classes?

I'm learning DirectX10 and I'm in the subject of lighting, and I noticed that DirectX9 had structs related to lighting and that the DirectX9 device object had functions like ::SetLight() to control the lighting. Are there any built-in funcitons/structs to control lighting in DirectX 10? Or does lighting always have to be coded manually in the pixel shader?

Check the Sample Browser in the SDK for the FixedFuncEMU sample. It shows how to emulate D3D9 fixed function functionality (including lighting) in D3D10.
