boost matrix, no det, no inverse

It might be a very stupid question, but I really amazed that the boost package doesn't support Matrix operations for computing matrix determinant and matrix inversion? I just began to use boost. If there are these functions, please advise me. I'd appreciate it.

boost::ublas, unfortunately, is based on the BLAS library of linear algebra routines, which is not very comprehensive. More high-level routines are included in other packages such as LAPACK and LINPACK, but these haven't found their way into boost. There are bindings available, though I haven't used any of them; see this page for details.
