Whats the difference between an engine made up of wrapper functions and a "real" engine, cuz i heard real engines arent developed using wrapper functions.

An engine is the actual code that runs the game, or whatever else you are trying to make. Wrapper functions use the engine to create a new "higher" level between you and the actual engine.

So basically, the wrapper functions just make using the engine easier. They aren''t any part of the engine itself.
