Hey I was just reading some of the D3DX docs and I want to know something. Do you need to make a lpd3dxrendertosurface to use all the other d3dx stuff? There are no real tutorials on D3DX, so I just want to know what I''m getting in to. I tried to write some text on the screen, but it didn''t work. I assume it''s because I don''t have a rendertosurface. -Forcas

No, you dont need an LPD3DXRenderToSurface. If the text didnt show up, you were doing something wrong there.
