What should I use to texture 3d models

Yep, photoshop is enough for texturing work. The 3d-modeler will give some 256x256 bitmap (with many lines) and you work over this (using layers), then finally you return a 256x256 bitmap (a sigle layer). Of couse if you have some 3d programs to wrap-unwrap there is much better (3dstudio max for G4?).

Also there are 3d-painter programs, but in many cases is useless.
