draw polys in different color

I would create a shader thath draw some basic polys shapes in different color .
What is the fast method?

Do you want to draw multiple shapes in different colors with a single draw call? In this case you should add the color to the vertex data. Your vertex shader needs to pass it to the pixel shader and the pixel shader will just return this color.

If all polys in one draw call should have the same color you can use a pixel shader constant. Then you need to use SetPixelShaderConstantF to set the color before you make the draw call.
