Does anyone know if there is a command to add example.exe into startup program.
I'm using Visual Studio 2008 under Windows7. Thank you.

And 1 more question please. I have an .exe, in a directory called, say pathway.
In pathway, there are images that the .exe calls to open. How would i embed those
images into the .exe, so that when I move the .exe into a different directory,
i also don't have to move the images as well. Thanks again.

You can retrieve the path of the user's startup shortcut folder by using the relevant CSIDL (e.g. CSIDL_STARTUP for the startup folder for the current user or CSIDL_COMMON_STARTUP for all users) and one of the functions that accepts a CSIDL (e.g. SHGetFolderPath). I tend to use the WshShell.CreateShortcut method to manipulate shortcuts in Windows.

As for embedding images into your application, research "resources".
