How initialize Front Buffer Format ?

In Creating a IDirect3DDevice9
Where we define the D3D-FORMAT of Front Buffer ?
I mean i could not find any where ...
When we fill D3DPRESENT_PARAMETERS structure we only define Back Buffer Format and when we use CreateDevice(...) function there is also no parameter to define the Format of Front Buffer ?
How we define that ?
Please Help me Im a Beginner ....

You can't specify the format of the front buffer. In fullscreen mode, when the driver is using flip mode, the frontbuffer is the same format as the backbuffer, and in windowed mode when the driver uses copy mode, it's whatever format the display is in (Which is why some drivers restrict backbuffer formats to the same as the display format in windowed mode).
