So the compiler is giving me a funky error that causes my program to crash every time I exit it.

Here is what it says:
1>LINK : warning LNK4098: defaultlib 'LIBCMT' conflicts with use of other libs; use /NODEFAULTLIB:library

Note that I'm compiling using the debugger.

I just googled your problem. Got this link.

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vclanguage/thread/b1cf8b8e-7904-4d30-b472-4470e2ce8f86

might fix it.

I was looking at that thread earlier. The general error might be the same, but he's working they are talking about things that I have absolutely no background with.

I think I'm having issues with SFML, but I'm not positive

Then learn, please. It is very likely you run into problems that force you to go and acquire additional knowledge. This can significant additional time for you to research and understand, but it's your responsibility to do so...

You are having issues with a mismatch of runtimes. Let me quote what was said in that linked thread: "I'm guessing you have some modules that use one runtime, and some modules that use a different one."

For example, you have SFML compiled. What runtime does this compiled version use? What runtime is your program using? The problem is caused because they differ, so you need to ensure that they are the same.
