I didn't know what to Google for this, everything was coming back with how to write .dll files. Is there a way to change where the compile application looks for the .dll files? I have always put them in the root folder with the application, but would like to move them to a "bin" folder if possible.

Why ? Except for manually loaded and linked DLLs (plugins), putting implicitly dependent DLLs into the main applications directory is the accepted standard practice.

Maybe he don't wants the user to find the .exe in the massive bunch of DLLs in the main folder. I think it is much cleaner when you only have the main executable in the main folder and anything other in sub folders. However, I don't know how this works [smile]
