A perfect 3d format for my engine

Hi to all,
I'm trying to render my 3d models by VBO in my engine.(OpenGL in C++)
I made a perfect 3d format for my engine.
I used from maxscript to do this work first time.
But understood that output of gettvface function and output of getface function
is not equal.Thereupon,I could't use Texture coordinate in VBO.
Then i decided to use from 3ds format and wrote a convertor for my 3d format.
But 3ds format not have normal vectors and my engine need to Vertex Normal.

I don't know that what i do!?
(I'm sorry about my bad English language)
