Help me improve my code please [2D platformer]

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole gamedev thing. I've started out on XNA and have managed to make a decent platform engine. Very bare bones.

I was wondering if you could critique my platform physics code for the player object. Right now it is fully functional, but I'm dubious as to its efficiency.
What tricks could I do to improve and speed up my code further.

One thing I could think to do, would be to seperate the one large foreach loop into three smaller ones. One loop always runs and works out vertical physics, the others work out horizontal physics and only run if the key for left/right movement is pressed.

The first thing you should do is tidy up your code, simplify them and make them as clear as possible. Then you can try to find the bottle neck by hiding some suspect bad code.
