I am having problems compiling scripts after I make changes to them in Unity 3d. It seems the only way they will compile is if I restart unity. The script files are accessing the correct directories, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Even right clicking on the script and reimporting doesn't seem to have an effect. It's as if the scene got corrupted somehow. Has anyone had this problem?

You might get an answer here, but I think the best place to ask about this would be on the Unity forums (assuming you haven't asked there already).

I have a vague memory of seeing mention of this problem (or a similar one) on the forums there, so you might also try searching the Unity forums for previous discussions on this issue.
