Completion Ports

Hello guys...

I'm with a doubt about Completion Ports. I checked out ASIO includes and found a WSARecv followed by a PostQueuedCompletionStatus. I'm wondering why ASIO have this behavior... If itself calls a CreateIoCompletionPort with the used socket. If i register the socket with CreateIoCompletionPort i don't have to call a PostQueuedCompletionStatus after a WSARecv... I'm damn confused.
