I was experimenting with the logluv encoding for HDR, orignal post:

Now I use an image processing tool to convert a 32 bit HDR texture to Logluv and store it as a 8bit per channel tga. I tested the encode/decode function in the image processing tool and it works ok. But when I decode the image in the pixel shader....it just goes wrong. Am I missing something here? Does the Logluv encode supports bilinear filter? Thanks
