I recently posted a question about how to get Bullet to correctly compile/link with Code::Blocks and Ubuntu 10.04, to which I got many helpful responses. Though I got it to compile and link, I keep getting a pesky segmentation error whenever I try to call:

btRigidBody->getMotionState()->getWorldTransform(wt);

btRigidBody is an initialized object, i'm not trying to call that as is :-p. The point is that whenever I call that, it seems that the returned motionstate from getMotionState() is empty... leading to a segmentation error.

I have also ran into segmentation errors by calling

btDiscreteDynamicWorld->stepSimulation(...);

and the exact line of that function is the same as the first piece of code.

As a fool proof test, I tried to compile the Bullet Hello World code verbatim and still got the same error around the getMotionState... does anyone know what is causing this or how to solve this error?
