Hi all

I came across a strange error since I am using the angelscript lib:

The statement "std::string a = Utility::intToString(5);" (im just testing here)

defined here (header):
// The Utility class header file
#include <sstream>
class Utility
virtual ~Utility(void);
static std::string intToString(int i);

#include "Utility.h"

// Destructor

std::string intToString(int i)
std::string s;
std::stringstream out;
out << i;
s = out.str();
return s;

raises a linker error:
1>generat0r.obj : error LNK2001: Nicht aufgelöstes externes Symbol ""public: static class std::basic_string<char,struct std::char_traits<char>,class std::allocator<char> > __cdecl Utility::intToString(int)" (?intToString@Utility@@SA?AV?$basic_string@DU?$char_traits@D@std@@V?$allocator@D@2@@std@@H@Z)".
1>bin\Debug\\generat0r.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 nicht aufgelöste externe Verweise.

I rechecked the compiler settings and I do have compiled both angelscript lib and my main app (which uses Ogre and boost) using the same RT Lib switch: "/MDd" so there should be no dynamic/static mismatches (theoretically)

Any ideas'

You didn't prefix intToString with Utility:: in the function definition.
