Hey!

I'm drawing some objects on the screen in perspective projection. Now i'd like to transform perspective projection to ortho projection in few steps so it would look like a smooth transition from one projection to the other. How would i acomplish this?

I don't know. But my guess is that interpolating between the perspective and orthogonal matrices would be the solution if there was one.

But is it even possible to interpolate between such matrices? (without weird in-between results)

I guess you could use a perspective with an angle that gets closer and closer to zero, and then switch to orthographic. This might cause some problems though, like clipping planes because the camera is far away from the screen plane, so you should just try it out to see if it works. Otherwise, the matrix interpolation would probably work, if you understand the equations necessary for both perspective and orthographic and their similarities. Then you would be able to calculate everything in between.
