Could someone please explain this: std::ios_base &(*Base)(std::ios_base&) = std::dec?

My brain shut down when i saw this line -.-
std::ios_base &(*Base)(std::ios_base&) = std::dec

This is a function argument by the way.

It looks like a function pointer named Base which takes an std::ios_base& as its only parameter and returns an std::ios_base& and its default value is the function std::dec.

Not sure that that clears it up, but it is just ugly code.
