exporting to .x (animated)

So i am messing around with animation in D3D and exported a bipped character from 3dsmax that has 2 tracks, 1 is idle which is 0-10 which just shakes his head, the other is lift-leftarm and thats 10-20 ,but for some reason both animations play on the idle track and nothing happens for the lift-leftarm track..., yet when i load another .x which i didnt export and has tracks , they switch fine and play 1 at once, so it must be an export setting i think , does anyone know ?
