SlimdxWpf App graphic card issue

Are there any known issues about d3d apps that run fine on Nvidia cards but not on ATI cards? The app I have uses VS 1.0 and PS 3.0.

I found a fix, when creating the device I used SoftwareVertexProcessing instead of Hardware and now the app loads fine.
