Hello, everyone

I'm not new to programming. For the past few years I've been working with mobile games (j2me, brew, iPhone). Now I'm thinking about migrating to console (or PC) game development. I have not much PC game creation experience (some rotating primitives with direct3d and custom lighting with shaders). I've played a little with xna game framework on xbox (have xna premium account).

So, I'd like to know your opinion: what is the required knowledge for "big" games programming? I mean technologies, algorithms: anything you may consider important.

p.s. sorry for my english: i'm not native speaker
