Ogre and Environment Variable

I have install ogre and I need to set the environment variable but in setting tutorial I have to using setx function that doesn't available in my windows XP. How I set the environent variable manually...?

Can U give me an Example....?

Environment variables in Windows are typically set through the GUI. Right-click the My Computer icon, choose properties, find the advanced settings button/tab, and choose environment variables to access the panel.
