although I'm mainly a composer/sound designer, I've always had a passion for programming and game design.

Musical Aether is my first attempt in building a game, and as such is a sort of "experiment" of implementing interesting elements of music, sound and game design.

Any feedback is welcome.

Musical Aether is a game about collecting "Music" in a musical essence in an amount of "Time units".
Other than that, Musical Aether is a relaxing and satisfying musical experience.
Arousing the Aether produces changes in timbre and colors.
Time is not fixed either, and changes depending on the player's pace.
The Aether responds to the player's stimuli as it was a living being.
The game adopt a "Dynamic difficulty adjustement" algorithm: if you increase your pace you have more rewards but an harder gameplay.
Controls are extremely easy: zero clicks, only mouse movement is needed.
