I have been looking at bookstores and Amazon.com, but am having a headache finding a book that covers Visual Studio (2008 or 2010) from a C++ perspective. C++ is my area of "expertise", and I wanted to learn how to use the environment to maximize what I can do with it. My main project is to work on a game with Direct X 10 and the C++ language. Anybody have thoughts or recommendations on books/resources that might work?

I found Mark Luna's "Introduction to Game Programming with Direct 3D : A Shader Approach" very good:

I used the DX9 version back when I was learning, but I assume the DX10 is as good or better. Book is broken up into logical steps per chapter and the project code is available on his website.
