Hi,

I'm looking for a way in Windows (specifically Windows 7) to map a cd drive to a folder. Not map a folder to a drive as in make some folder appear as Z:\ or whatever, but exactly the opposite, so that my CD Drive appears as a regular folder somewhere in C:\ to programs and to windows explorer. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Messy... but you might be able to Junction your drive over.
Or just use "Computer Management -> Disk Management" and right click the CD drive and "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."

If the drive is NTFS you should be able to mount the CD drive as an NTFS Folder, I've not actually tried it myself.
Thanks, I'll try that
