mono as scripting engine

Ok, as the subject says has anyone had experience with using mono as script engine?
Well i had experience with binding with lua but is there an way to create dotnet like scripting in game engines.

Well, I know you can do it with the Microsoft's implementation of .NET, so I guess it's the same for Mono.

However, this will work only for platforms that support mono, and that excludes for example a big bunch of mobile platforms. If you are ok with that, then good luck with it. If not, I think java script for example, even if not such powerful as .NET, is supported on more platforms.

I think the way of MS could not be used in C++, but the way of Mono can.
